IDEA Lab
Last year, Thad Reichley and I co-created a class for third graders called "IDEA Lab." IDEA stands for "Imagine, Design, Experiment, Apply" and is a tinkering class designed to give students exposure to the Design Thinking Process and opportunities to build things using a variety of low-tech and high-tech tools and materials. Working closely with the third grade teachers, I am coordinating lessons to complement what they are doing in class.
